In this article, I’m gonna show you a few tricks to creating Youtube videos without the need to show your face or record your voice.

Okay, let’s get started. Here is the video version of this article, if you prefer videos more, but if not, you can continue right under the video to keep reading instead.

Now as we all know video content is king. People all over the world are more visual than ever before and this has been a factor that has made Youtube the second largest search engine just below Google.

As a result, more content creators are getting in on Youtube with new channels popping up daily to catch a piece of the traffic pie.

According to stats by Statista

As of the third quarter of 2020, it was found that 62 percent of YouTube users in the United States accessed the video platform on a daily basis. Overall, 92 percent of responding YouTube audiences claimed that they used the messaging platform weekly.

Now you might be saying “I would love to own my own Youtube channel, but I am a bit shy and not so comfortable showing my face or recording my voice”.

You don’t have to worry because, in this video, I am going to show you 4 ways to create Youtube videos without showing your face and some bonus tips for creating a voice-over without recording your voice…

  1. Canva

This has proven to be everyone’s favorite graphic web app. But the cool thing is Canva has also grown from being just a platform for graphics to a video creation platform as well.

And the best part is it’s free to use if you are just getting started.

All you have to do is head over to, pick a video template and edit it to suit your needs.

It contains several simple effects and cool animated elements to make interesting videos.

You can also add audio of any kind to videos you create with Canva. The only downside is… the process is a bit complicated when you try to align voice narration to your video.

But in all, it’s an amazing app to consider for your video creation.

  1. Screen Recording software

This is a tool for recording your pc screen and can be used best if you intend to display content on your browser or just about anything on your desktop.

A couple of options to consider are …Screencastify which is a chrome extension I personally use.

It lets you record your entire screen or just a chrome browser tab for about 5mins for each video if you are using the free version.

You can export your videos in high definition and automatically save them to your Google drive.

Plus it has a feature that lets you draw on your screen also.

Another option would be using OBS screen recording software

This is an entirely free and open-source software for video recording and live streaming for Windows, Mac & Linux operating systems. It is a bit complicated at the start, but recording videos is a lot easier once you have it all set up.

Okay moving on to other options for creating videos without showing your face or recording your voice.

  1. Reupload videos created by others

When it comes to videos, we all know it’s never permitted and totally unethical to repost someone else’s video at least without their permission.

But what if I told you that it is totally fine to do so? Yes, you can repost a video already created by someone else. But Wait…

Before you run off into the sunset, there are a couple of things you need to be aware of.

You can only reupload videos created by someone else if they are under creative commons license.

According to Google…Creative Commons licenses give a standard way for content creators to grant someone else permission to use their work. YouTube allows creators to mark their videos with a Creative Commons CC BY license. … Other creators get to reuse your work subject to the terms of the license.

How do you find videos under creative commons?

All you have to do is search for a video you would like to create content about and filter by creative commons.  For instance,

Let’s say you want to post a video about how to train a dog. You simply head over to YouTube search bar and type in your keyword

When the results are displayed. Head over to the filter and select the creative commons option.

Now the results displayed are only videos under the creative commons license.

Now all you have to do is…

Download the video using online tools like and

Recreate the thumbnail using Canva and rewrite the title. Add the appropriate tags and upload to your channel and now you have yourself free content without the need to show your face or record your voice

This is cool if you are just getting started, but I am all about being unique and posting original content so that might be why I would probably not use this method as a million other Youtubers might have done the same already.

So I’d rather create my videos from scratch.

Before we talk about some audio options, I’d like to invite you to join my Facebook group. I share golden nuggets on how to grow your business and make money online.
